Priorities for traffic control

I just sent (on Canada Day ) an email to the city councillor for our area pointing out that the city of Winnipeg by continuing to ignore the twinning of Concordia Drive between Gateway and Molson for years yet proposing to expropriate homes on Keneston to develop a 6 lane roadway have abandoned traffic priorities.

I also added that the city should consider purchasing a 4 acre piece of property in the area for future development of an overhead over the railway tracks. This would eliminate traffic wanting to travel south on Lagimodiere to first have to proceed north to the existing overrhead. I have commented in other emails that the city engineers should have included an overhead for the Chief Peguis trail extension at Henderson Hwy.- or at least put in place the pillars for it. But what do I know I am not a traffic engineer.
