Anti-aging tests and Wellness Centers

It appears  that not only private health facilities but also major hospitals are incorporating Wellness Centers in their business and/or expansion programs. This is indeed gratifying.
It is hoped that such enters also include research facilities  which can evaluate whether their programs are actually beneficial, i.e.    improve the quality of health (wellness) of the participants. Such biological marker tests are available. e.g. Ward Dean M.D. has compiled these biological markers of aging in a book entitled "Biological Aging Measurement. Clinical Applications" published by the centre for Bio-Gerontology, Los Angeles, California .  In my own library  I have  the second addition.  of Roy Walford's text entitled "The 120 year diet"Copyright 1988. In this book he devotes an entire chapter to gauging aging (Chapter 2 pp. 38-54)
Since the building of such Wellness Centers costs millions of both provincial and federal dollars to build and to maintain not to mention the membership and other costs by  participants.  It is hoped that before any additional wellness enters are built (like the Concordia  Hospital Foundation is currently planning, that a proper evaluation of their benefits has been proven scientifically.Such retroactive studies can be done by assessing the benefits of existing facilities in Winnipeg that have in some cases been functional for over 20 Years.
For example many of the current operational fitness centers have running tracts, for weight reduction and fitness. Current research ( http://drpompa.com/exercise/burst-training) suggests that 4 rounds of one minute "exercise bursts-80-90 % of your maximum" 3X per may be more beneficial for weight loss and fitness that running around the tract for an hour several times /week. A fitness program which can easily be done at home on your own tread mill or just running up stairs..The author of this burst training (drpompa) uses a you tube presentation to detail the way to exercise for weight loss, fat loss, and muscle gain- (one of the features of aging is muscle loss or sarcopenia)
Inclusion at existing Wellness Centers as well as those planned for the future of  such research testing facilities and novel training programs could be evaluated and/or implemented-and save millions of dollars in costs.
