Trapping CO2
Its time for our politicians to maybe open their high school biology books or their university course Plant Physiology 101
Nature has been trapping CO2 since microorganisms- the green ones containing chlorolphyll first appeared on the earth by a process called photosynthesis The equation known as the Calvin cycle is:
6C02 + 6H2O = C6H12O2 + 6O2 with sunlight supplying the energy or photons. As you see the results are very green friendly- you generate glucose and produce oxygen- but nutrients essential for human survival.
We dont need to bury the CO2 in the ground. From this equation you can see that all that you need is water sunlight and lots of green plants.
Maybe by dumping the CO2 into our lakes it might clean up the pollution of the lakes as well . The fish living in these current oxygen-deprived garbage dumps would also profit from the oxygen generated in the process.
