Drugs and Terrorism

In an earlier blog or was it one of my stickies ? that I describe what I consider a different kind of war by terrorists , namely one not involving the sale of arms and bullets to dictators to have them kill their own people but one in which drug companies - the manufacturers of their weapons to fight disease - and the use of these drugs (bullets) by medical doctors and/or pharmacists for the distribution of these " bullets "to the public or patients where they may produce the same effect, namely injuries some of which may even result in death.
On the evening TV news on Victoria Day there was a documentary on Tomoxifin the antiviral agent for the flu virus. I urge the reader to view this documentary to form their own opinion if they feel this scenario resembled the pattern of sale of weapons to dictators , whether there was any evidence of conflict of interest by Canadian government officials and if the stock piling of this amnunition to fight the flu was justified.

Regardless of your view,it appears that this sale of what some may consider " illegal weapons " costs the Canadian government over 150 million dollars ! which I believed was paid to the company by the Canadian government - as part of their health care budget
